COMPETITION General Rules: Modified USA Hockey rules apply. For a complete set of rules, see the Games Adult Hockey rules. All players must show WI driver's license for proof of age. Individuals currently on WIAA/WISAA school hockey teams are ineligible. No checking, slap shots or fighting. WISCONSIN RESIDENTS ONLY. Governing Body: USA Hockey Format: Three 12-minute periods, stop time. Definitions & Divisions:(Age determined as of February 8, 2011) Open- Players 18 years & older who have not competed in college or professional hockey within one year of the Badger State Winter Games. Equipment: Goalies must wear HECC-approved helmet with mask. Helmets and facemasks are required for all players. | ||||
